Is it possible to develop with QT a widget
which could be called by dlm or call external?

I also think that it should not be a problem. I used qt some time ago, but
not together with IDL. At the moment I sue IDL calling a DLL, which is using
OpenGL. This works fine.

Ahhh, isn't that the toolkit by trolltech that KDE uses?

I would suspect that you would be able to do this, but I wonder about window
manager focus issues.

I'd guess he's talking about Qt, which is a toolkit for building GUI's for X11,
written in C++ . But I don't know the answer to his question :(, I don't see
why not in principle, but I've never used these in IDL (call external, etc..).
