This depends on how many "seats" that licence has. Typical numbers of
seats are 1,3,6 or Unlimited, meaning that's how many diferent users
can access IDL at once, although each user can have multiple IDL
sessions.
Never been a problem under OpenVMS, anyway. ;-D

This was a known issue with version 5.4 . They have a patch for it
to version 5.4.1 . Look up Tech Tip 3217 on the RSI web site.
