I am interested in finding anyone else out there using
IDL for medical imaging work in any way. Also, does
anyone know of IDL being using in any teleradiology
type applications?

Thanks.

We routinely use IDL for image analysis in various modalities,
PET, MRI, and acoustic. Seems to do good job in prototyping.
