I recently installed IDL (5.4) on a new machine (running Redhat 7.2),
and am unable to line edit. I.e., neither the up arrow nor the
right/left arrows are able to edit the command line. This problem only
occurs in IDL, and only on this machine (I installed on another
machine at the same time and don't have the same problem). Any ideas
on what might be going on here?
