Hi,
I'm running IDL 5.5 on my laptop under Mandrake 8.1, and I have a problem with
the command recall. I use IDL via the IDL-shell and the up-arrow doesn't
recall previous commands at the prompt...
It's also impossible to edit the current line without erasing (left arrow has no
effect, I can only use backspace), or to ask the TAB key to complete files name.
Does anyone know how to fix this ?

(I am sorry if the answer to this was already given by the group but I didn't
find it despite my efforts...)
