What problems?
IDL 5.5 is installed in "C:\Program Files\RSI\IDL55" on my Windows 2000
machine and most of my files are in subdirectories "C:\Documents and
Settings\hadfield\IDL Libraries" (whew). I don't have any problems with
spaces in file names, except with .prj files, which I never use. (A bit poor
really, since I reported this in the beta program for 5.4 or so. They
"fixed" the bug by documenting it in the manual instead of doing a proper
job, which would have taken all of 5 minutes.)
