Just to let people know I've come accross a bug in the PV-WEAVE routine
DC_WRITE_FIXED. I tried to write a file using it that was column organised and
had 60 items that spanned 600 spaces. The code crashed PV-WAVE after executing
the statement so that there was an error message

Illegal statement

and execution was returned to the operating system prompt.

I phoned up the technical support people in this country & sent them the code.
They said they tried writing the same stuff but with DC_WRITE_FREE (ie no
format) and this worked. So this might indicates that it's something to do with
writing it formatted. The People at VNI said they were referring it back to the
technical development people in the USA.

I'm going to rewrite the code using an open and a formatted write statement.
If I run into anymore problems I'll let you know, or if the VNI people get back
to me.
