We all know how to append an array for example
array = [array,3,5]

Does anyone have any solution on how to append a structure without
rewriting the whole contents of the structure again. For example:

dd1={name:'Cat',array:fltarr(3),index:4}

If I want to add another data type to "dd1" without writing

dd1={name:'Cat',array:fltarr(3),index:4,scale:4.6}
