For V5.1, RSI distributed an HTML version of the manual, and there are
several copies of this manual on the Net (e.g.
http://hires.gsfc.nasa.gov/~beck/pkgs/idl_5.1/idl.htm ). But this was
discontinued after V5.1.

The top of my "wish list" for improved online help is to again
distribute an HTML version of the manual (since HTML is the only way to
create help files for user-written procedures.) --Wayne Landsman
