Dear all,
I think I asked this question about 4 or 5 years ago, back when I read this
newsgroup regularly. No reply then, but perhaps there will be one now (I
hope)!
I have various routines for performing principal component analysis (PCA) of
data (i.e. computing the Empirical Orthogonal Functions), including the
built-in PCOMP routine. But none seem to have the option for applying a
"varimax rotation" to the EOF vectors/patterns. Can anyone point me towards
an IDL routine to do this, or (second-best) a well-written fortran routine
that I could write an IDL interface for?
Best regards to you all!
Tim
