Hello all.

I've had IDL 3.1.1 on my system (Sun SPARCstation 2, OpenWindows 3.0,
SunOS 4.1.3) for quite some time now, and everything has worked fine.

Now, all of the sudden, my IDL windows seem to have some display
characteristic(s) changed such that my greyscale images (8-bit) are no
longer displayed properly. The image alignment is ok and there still
is greyscale, but some kind of thresholding seems to be going on, and
it's rendering my machine useless until I fix it.

Help, please!
