I have added a GUI program that generates maximum intensity images
from 3D images to my web site. It allows 3 orthogonal projections to
be displayed. A subvolume can be defined using the mouse or sliders
allowing unwanted structures to be excluded from the MIP images. The
MIP images can be saved in jpeg, tif, analyze or bmp format. The
subvolume can be returned to the calling routine making this a useful
routine for interactively selecting a subvolume from a large 3D image.
