Hello

I am using IDL V5.3 on Solaris.

I have multiple colour plots on a page
I need to write the legend or key to the colours on the plot
I am aware of the xouts subroutine to annotate a plot and I
have been trying to use it.
My problem is computing the co-ordinates for placement. I want the
legend to appear in the upper left area of the plot. What frame of
reference can I use where multiple plots exist on one page and I
might want a legend on each plot?
