Another person who emailed me off list ran into the same problem with
AVI_OPENW and assures me that his path is correct. He said that
AVIkrTest8Bit.pro works w/o problem. He is running IDL 5.5 on win98. I
can't verify it (don't have a win98 machine) but there may be an issue with
the aviIDL.dlm and some versions of windows.
