Has anyone heard of MIP(Maximum Intensity Projection). This is
technique used in medical area wherein images are obtained from
magnetic resonance scanners.

But I cannot find any algorithm for MIP in detail.

I would appreciate it if some information could be passed on as to
how this works or the details of the algorithm, even the simplest MIP,
just in detail! Thank you!
