Folks,

I have reason to work with files that have been compressed
with the UNIX "compress" command from my Windows IDL application.
Has anyone written a Windows DLM, ala Randy Frank's gzip interface
(found on Ronn Kling's web page) to work with this
kind of compressed file? (Randy's DLM appears
to work only with files compressed with gzip.)

Anyone want to make a couple of bucks writing me one? :-)

There are reasons why I want a DLM and not solutions
that spawn gzip, etc., which I know can decompress
these files.

Thanks for any pointers.

Cheers,

David
