By all means "strongly suggest". I even have a list
of four-letter words that have proved effective in
other situations (hammer on thumb, that sort of thing).
But I have the impression IDL must be deaf *and* dumb
on occasion, at least when it wants to be. Have you
tried SCR_XSIZE? That sometimes gets its attention, at
the risk of reduced flexibility.
