Thanks David. Positively stoic ;).
I tried to include various examples drawn from my own and other code, and
especially from newsgroup postings, if they could be distilled to
something manageable. I'd love to hear of any additional instructive
HISTOGRAM recipes I might have missed, and would be happy to add them.
Error checking is kept to a minimum (you have been warned).
