Has anyone out there used LADFIT (least-absolute fitting). It works fine for
me with "small" x (say 0-100) but if x is large (say dates: 1951-2001) it
produces rubbish. Simply running it with x-coord x-x(0) is a perfectly
good fix but it caused some head-scratching before I realised this. This is
independent of /double.
