I encountered an aggravation when using IDL 5.6 OS X under OroborOSX-v0.8
beta release 2.
OroborOSX crashes when I create an IDL window then "click" into the finder,
the Xterm window or anything else.
Specifically:
- Start OroborOSX-v0.8 beta 2
- Open an Xterm or Eterm window
- start IDL, execute the window command
IDL > window
- "Click" into the OS X finder or the [X|E]term window used to start IDL.
- OroborOSX quits
I do not believe this is an issue with IDL 5.6. I reinstalled OroborOSX-v0.8
preview 3 resulting in expected and stable X windows behavior.
I also performed this test using the Xdarwin/WindowShade environment. The
problem did not exhibit.
Therefore I suspect some sort of window bug in OroborOSX-v0.8 beta release
2. The console log for the crash events:
