If you are drawing in xor mode, the actual color index will be the
inverted value of the color which was already there, so in 8-bits: 255 gets 0
and %11100000 gets %00011111. So it is not easy to specify the color when in
the xor-mode. One possible soluction is to draw only to a few bitplanes by
using the command DEVICE, Set_Write_Mask.
