Anyone know of IDL script or program to compute the footprint on the
earth's surface as viewed from a satellite that displays that
footprint on a selected map projection generated by IDL? Inputs to the
script should include the LAT and LON and altitude of the satellite,
the viewing elevation angle from the surface of the earth and
parameters and keywords to generate the map.
Did several searches in this group and have come up empty. Would like
to use IDL's excellent mapping capabilities in this application.
