Hi,

I would like to know, if its possible to put an Image Object inside a
normal widget (instead of a Widget_Draw). Im not so experienced with
objects, im more happy with "normal" widget programming (with good
success i think), but I read the example of the Alpha Blending in the
"Whats Knew in 5.5" and i thought that this is quite better than the
"checker board fusion" i usually use. But the problem is, that this
seems only be posssible with Image Objects.
So my question is, if i can put such an object inside a Widget_Base of
my programs (and not to open it as a new Window).

I searched the web for this, but only found how,to put widgets inside
an object, and not the opposite, so I would be very glad, if someone
has an idea for that.

with regards
Kay Bente

p.s. Does someone know, if its possible to read and play .mp3 files?
I would like to write a little program, which gets the length of the
song, goes to a random position and plays a few seconds. (A friend of
me asserts that he would recognize every song from queen by only
listening to 2 seconds of it, and i thought that it would be funny to
write a little program for testing it)
