Bonjour Gadouali,
My French is quite poor so I will spare you a response in it :)
What docs are you looking for? Have you tried the Visual Numerics website?
They have the PV-Wave docs that ship with the product for download.

I'm sorry.
Since I can see your book lying next to my keyboard, I'm on your side :)

Some People would see this as a nice possibility to place some ads there
but I'm sure you'll find another way.

No, it offers you the opportunity to *purchase*
a book should you wish to support the author's
strange compulsion to make most of the good stuff
available for free on his web page. There is a VERY
big difference! :-)
Cheers,
David
P.S. There is a price to be paid for success, I'm
finding out. That darn web page is becoming too popular!
My Internet bills have been creeping up to an alarming
level recently, although that huge spike a couple of
months ago was due to a teenage son learning about
"free" music files. :-( But even with my son in the
doghouse, last month I served up nearly 8 GBytes of
pages! I'm hoping this is not an exponential curve,
or for sure I'm going to have to write another book
to make ends meet. :-(

Hi Gadouali.

Well, I don't speak french and I've never seen an french article in this
newsgroup - but I'm pretty new to it, too. Maybe you should try in
english next time.
Anyways, here's something to start. Those two sites below provide heaps
of little programs doing everything you can imagine. Maybe you learn
something while reading their source or using them.

The last one also tries to sell you a book. I've got it here and I think
it's a good one to start from NULL :). You should get it, if you
seriously want to do anything with IDL.
The last hint I can give is: the online-help is very informative, too,
if you know what you're looking for.
n'joy,
Tom
