That is exactly my problem - I try printing it on my Unix box and I get a
blank piece of paper, even though there is a SHOWPAGE at the end of the .eps
file. That's what prompted my question about how to configure the printers
under unix so that they actually print something, using the printer dialog
that IDL connects you to when you try to print from LIVEPLOT. I'll try it on
my Mac installation and see if it works any better - nope, same problem -
the plot ends up in hyperspace somewhere.

If someone can get LIVEPLOT plots to print on an PS printer, I'd love to
know the detailed steps by which you were able to do this, either on Unix or
on a Mac. Thanks!
