Slicing Question [message #35247] Thu, 22 May 2003 19:56

I have a cube, say 100X100X100. Each cell contains a different number.

What is the best way to take a slice out of it in angles other than 0 or 90
degrees without loosing the content of the cell?

Note: If I cut the cube using a plane at, say 30 degree about the z-axis,
the cut surface will contain portions of some cells. What will be best
approach to get such a slice while preserving the properties of each cell,
including partial cells cut by this plane?

Thanks,
MC
