Hi.
Currently we see the follwing bug when running :
IDL Version 2.3.0
Openwindows 3
SunOS 4.1.1
Sun NeWS Server
TWM Window Manager or OLWM Window Manager.
We recently switched over to IDL Version 2.3.0 and
we have encountered some problems.
When we attempt to open two IDL X graphics sessions, the system
does not allow us to open the second windowing session...
So, if we already have one session going, and then attempt
to open the second graphics session the folllwing
occurs :
IDL> window,0
% WINDOW: Unable to allocate enough colors.
And then it doesn't open the window.
I have spoken with the people at RSI and they can
not reproduce the bug with an identical system. Have any
of you seen this bug? If so, please contact me. RSI
is looking for other users seeing this manifestation.
The bug does not appear when running OPEN WINDOWS 2.
