Calling Fortran from IDL [message #35234]

I am a peruvian student and I would like to do calling Fortran 77 from
IDL. I use IDL 5.6 both Windows2000 and Red Hat Linux 9 systems. Could
someone give some advice about it?

Hi Ronald,

A good starting point would be the IDL Advanced Developers Guide (ADG) which
is in the standard on-line documentation set. This has some examples . Also,
Ron Kling has written a book on linking with IDL that worked nicely for me
in C - can't recall if it covered FORTRAN.

I just did a quick search on Google and there are some old newsgroup
articles that will also help. Try:
