Wolfgang,
not that I have heard of, but the release data in Europe has been different
from the US release in the past. So here is one advance I had by moving away
from Germany! :-)

I'm working with the 2nd beta release of IDL 6.0
My Italian distributor has confirmed the release by the end of July.
