New WWW site - IDL interfacing Info, data acquisition [message #3590]

Hi all,

Recently there was some discussion about data acquisition
under IDL. We made available some of our source code and I was
suprised at the response. It appears that there may be a need for
a forum for the exchange of ideas and source code pertaining to
hardware interfacing and data acquisition under IDL.

I have developed a preliminary WWW site as a repository for this
type of information. Currently our source code is available at
this site. I would like to gather source code from other
people who have written data acquisition programs for any of
the platforms IDL runs on.

Please let me know if you think there is a need for this type
of information. Also, check out the site and send me any
comments or criticisms you may have. This site will continue
to evolve.
