Cheers guys, i trawled through the archives and found a reference to a2ps,
that seems to do the job quite nicely, makes a nice postscript file with
colour syntax (covers a lot of other languages too in case anyone else needs
it).

There was a posting a while ago about a program to convert pro files to
color coded html.

you should try a search through the google group archive.
