Has anybody used the write_pict utility to generate pict files and opened
them into a mac.
I generate the pict files on a PC and then FTP them (using binary transfer)
to a Mac. However these files cant be opened on the Mac. I have no
problem with TIFF files they open fine. However, tiff files are about
10 times the size of a Pict file I would like to generate the picts
as I am dealine in time series of images.
