I am trying to read in a jpeg format image using read_jpeg routine and
get error message below.

% READ_JPEG: JPEG error: Unsupported JPEG process: SOF type 0xc3

The images are pretty big so think they might be lossless jpeg. I know
this was covered in a previous thread but no satisfactory answer
seemed to have been found.

Paint Shop Pro does not have any problem reading in the images.
