Hi,

I am using the IDL Astronomy routines AITOFF and AITOFF_GRID to create
a plot showing the scan pattern of a satellite on the sky. I have,
essentially, a file with the ra's and dec's at which the satellite is
looking. In general, everything works fine. I create the grid and then
use AITOFF and plot to plot the scan pattern. The only problem is that
the scan sometimes goes off one end of the aitoff grid and reappears
on the other side. This, of course, is correct, but the PLOT routine
connects the two parts of the scan with a line across the plot (I hope
this is clear).

Has anyone done this and worked around this problem? Any pointers
would be appreciated. Thanks,

Ken
