IDL6 on FreeBSD5.2? [message #37679]

I'm playing with my newly installed FreeBSD5.2 box these days. I am
wondering if anybody knows how to run the idl6 on it. I remember I had
read some successful stories about running idl5.2 on a FreeBSD system.
When I tried it today, I can only get the idl/idlde startup but can't call
any functions. How do I know which lib file is missing and where should I
put it? Do I need to brand the binaries? Thanks!!!
