Our research group recently purchased a HP Deskjet 560C. We would love to
print some color IDL (on a Sun) plots. It doesn't appear as if IDL supports
color PCL (Printer Control Language used by the Deskjet). Does anyone
have any experience printing out color IDL plots on this printer, or can offer
any general advice?

Thanks..

John

PS. The deskjet is actually being used on an IBM which has a network connection to the SUN. So IDL can create a "plot.PCL" file which we then ftp to the IBM and send to printer port.. This seems to work "ok" for b&w, though some problems persist...
