Hello from "Down-under"

(1) Is anyone working on creating and manipulating 3D objects,
for example using mesh_obj to create unconventional surfaces?
I have a PC version of IDL. I want to create surfaces and extract
data from them by taking intersections and projections. Any contact
would be greatly appreciated......

(2) Is anyone working on doing image analysis to find the centre of
patterns? I have 512X512 arrays that have some elliptical symmetry
that I need to manipulate and extract data from. The first stage is
to find the centre of the pattern. Any assistance would be greatly
appreciated.....
