As I was afraid, I am on the path of using itools to manage my data
and not just plot it. In plots with multiple views, I find myself
renaming views and plots to more meaningfull names than view_1,2,3,
and plot_1,2,3.

Has anyone figured out a way of naming a view and a plot from the
program line?

On a side note, I discovered that although the data-manager has the
facility to rename the data, the names are lost after a save/read
cycle. Bummer.

BTW, it would be great for iTools to have a comment field somewhere,
where one might add some notes as to the origin of the data, or
whatever.
