Hello togehther,

when I produce postscript output, in ghostview the output looks good,
but when I want to convert it to tif in Photoshop, the font always looks
bad, because its to light. Is it because postscript does not produce
opaque colours ? When I change the font to bold font, nothing changes, too.

Thanks for your help in advance !

Klemens

What font are you using? I always set !p.font=0 when I use the postscript
device in IDL and get good looking fonts.

We are using pstoimg from the latex2html package. I have not seen what
you are describing. May be it depends on photoshop.
