Dear PV~Wave Experts,

My name is Scott Edwards, user-applications programmer from
Memphis State University. I'm trying to learn PV~Wave Command Line
Version 3.10 for VMS. In addition, I'm trying to provide PV~Wave
support to faculty and staff here at MSU.

A faculty member approached me with the following need:

His data set is 22 columns by 257 rows. Each data column
represents a surface electrode position on the human head and each
data row represents a successive time point. The value in each row/
column is a voltage recording. The typical plot for this type of data
is a series of X-Y plots of voltage vs. time at each electrode position.
The general distribution is shown below by column number. Columns 19,20,21,
and 22 represent the left eye, right eye, stimulus level, and neck muscle
respectively. Columns 1 - 18 are located on the cranium in concentric circles.
The outermost circle is comprised of electrodes 1,3,8,13,18,17,12,7,2.
The next is 4,9,14,15,16,11,6,5. The center point is 10.

He wants the computer to plot each node as well as the voltage vs.
time plot that occurrs at each node. Therefore he can get a view of the
voltage activity measured on the head at a particular time.

Can PV~Wave Command Line Version 3.10 for VMS produce the type of
graph that this gentleman is looking for? If so, could you please give me
some idea as to what command(s) or function(s) on which I should focus. If
no, please indicate any recommendations as to what software he should use.

Thank you for any help that you can provide.

Sincerely,

Scott W. Edwards
