I don't think there's a direct way to do this. Two workarounds I can
think of:

1.) Don't allow selection of a spectral subset (use /no_spec in
envi_select) and set pos manually.

2.) Create a bad bands list for the input file. The "bad" bands will
be deselected when the spectral subset dialogue is opened.
