Visual Numerics, Inc. (VNI) is a leading developer of Visual Data Analysis
products and Application Development Tools with offices in Boulder, CO and
Houston, TX. We currently have the following opportunity at our Boulder
facility:

Associate Consulting Engineer

VNI is looking for a qualified, enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in
a challenging environment. The primary task for this position is teaching our
customers in the use of PV-WAVE along with future course development.
Additionally, the qualified candidate from time to time will be involved in
porting our base product to other machines and custom application development.
Job candidates must have solid, proven teaching abilities, excellent
presentation and communication skills, strong customer orientation, computer
programming experience, a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and a
willingness to travel. Experience with any of the following is a plus:
PV-WAVE, IDL, porting applications to various platforms, proficiency in
UNIX and C programming, knowledge of FORTRAN, or X Windows/Motif. If
