The IDL FAQ is posted on or about the 20th of each month (a bit late this
time). Only the plain text version of the FAQ is posted to the news group.
Version 3.4 of the IDL FAQ is contained in the next post.
There are several changes from the FAQ posted last month,
these are noted in the Changes section near the front of the FAQ.
The HTML version of the IDL FAQ is available at:
ftp://fermi.jhuapl.edu/www/s1r/idl/idl_faq/idl_faq.html
A number of browsers are available free. NCSA (National Center for
Supercomputing Applications) mosaic may be obtained from the anonymous
ftp site:
ftp.ncsa.uiuc.edu in directory /Mosaic
It is available for Unix workstations, PC Windows, and Macs. The one
requirement is a good connection to the internet. Netscape is another
good web browser and may be picked up from the net also.
