I second this, our news server here at UW does a fairly good job (3
questionable messages in the past 5 days) but at home, the comcast news
server is considerably worse. I think ISP's like comcast and quest
deliberately fail to provide filtering on their "free" news servers in order
to sell their premium services.

Does your news reader allow you to define rules for hiding/deleting
messages?
