Eli,

I looked for some IDL code to do a ternary diagram a while back too.
I just searched the web, with keywords something like "IDL ternary."
I remember finding a few programs that I thought I could at least use
as a starting point, but had to focus on more important things and
forgot about it. I probably still have them somewhere and I'd go look
but my computer's not working right now :( Besides I probably
shouldn't post someone else's code without their permission. Anyway,
hope you find something, if you do, I'd love to hear about what you
find.
