Hi to everyone,
I am a student working in my MSc Thesis and I have found several
problems in programming it. I have been watching the FAQ, but I wasn't
been able to find a solution.
The problem consists in that I have a georreferenced image (UTM
projection) and I would like to extract the Digital Number of some
points within the image. These points must be read from a tabulated
ASCII file and they are in UTM coordinates).
My problem is how can I read the pixel value of a georreferenced image
using UTM (X and Y) coordinates to be able to store it in an ASCII
file an be able to carry on with the process?
I have been considering possibilities as the RDPIX function and I
believe that if it is combined with another one It could be possible,
but I'm not sure.

Best regards,

Vicente Bayarri
