Hello,

I have a number of GIS files in ASCII ARC/INFO export file format
(filename.E00). I would like to add a method to the IDLffSHAPE file access
object. Something like

myObject->ImportARCfile, filename.E00

There are applications available to read these and convert them to shape
files... but they are for Windows and I'm on a Mac. So, before I dig into
decoding the export file format I thought I might ask here. Anyone blazed this
trail before?
