Hi Friends:
This one is regarding Image Processing:
I have to write an application in IDL that processes medical images and
extracts data from it.
It should:

1. Get and process various ROIs for data such as area, number of pixels,
the Moment of Inertia

2. My problem also has to store this data in the database.

So I need to know:
How do i go about step 1 and step 2
Also, i want the histogram giving figures and not a pictorial
representation, tell me how!!
