Hi all,
I have developed an interactive image processing tool based on IDL
(see http://www.uni-graz.at/people/ahammer/IQM/index.htm) and there is
a stand alone *.sav file too. If you are interested, I can send you
the sav file (see download page).
Some text out of the tutorial:
"IQM (Interactive Quantitative Morphology) for W2000 or
XP............
IQM is an image processing application based on the IDL (Interactive
Data Language, RSI) language. It is developed and programmed by the
author and is for scientific purposes free of
charge.....................
Single images or image sequences or an image stack can be processed in
an interchangeable manner. Image processing settings can be easily
adapted to a set of images with an image manager and the final
processing for all images can be done without any additional
programming steps. Most of the image processing widgets can be opened
several times and allow therefore a rapid comparison between different
image processing settings.
The main features are:
Support of .tif, .jpg, .png images, image sequences or .tif stacks.
Support of 8bit grey level images or 24bit RGB color images......
Implemented Image filtering, calculation, alignment, histogram
adjustment, segmentation, thresholding, fractal analysis.........
Many features are implemented for grey level images as well as RGB
images. Some features (such as statistical texture features) are
implemented in this version only for grey level images, some other
features (such as RGB relative) are implemented only for RGB color
images.
Support of the IDL interactive tools functionality ROI, "iImage" and
"iVolume".
...........................
IQM needs the installation of IDL Virtual machine, which is included
since IDL6.0."

Helmut Ahammer
