Hi,
I am using a program based on gribbex subroutine to extract ERA40 data
from a grib file.

Unfortunately the subroutine pbopen

SUBROUTINE PBOPEN(KUNIT, FILENAME, MODE, KRET)

crashes with the following error message.

error code pbopen 0 1

where kret=1

This code error is not present in the reference table of pbopen.
Do you have any idea about the sense of this error code?
